Our mission is to promote independence and self-sufficiency for adult men and women in Montezuma County by providing seasonal emergency shelter, informal case management, job training and employment opportunities.
We envision a community where adult men and women can access emergency shelter and support services in a way that honor individual dignity and encourage self-sufficiency.
Over the years, the Bridge Shelter has helped many folks become more sustainable and lead more self-sufficient lives. We have helped individuals enter substance treatment programs, find jobs or find family. We have helped them find housing. We have helped connect our friends to the supportive services that enable them to remain in housing. In short: We help save lives!
How We Can Help:
If you are an adult in need, come in and get warm. Our doors are open from from 6:00 pm to 7:00 am. We will have a hot meal and a warm bed waiting for you. We also have showers, laundry facilities and personal hygiene supplies.
We do not serve families, but will make arrangements for their safety with the cooperation of local community agencies.
